04/29/2004.   Children's festival "Hello, Spring!"

Children's festival "Hello, Spring!"On April 29, in the walls of CAS there held a Children's festival "Hello, Spring!" CAS students organized an exhibition of their best works(paintings, sculptures, handmade articles, etc.) The children folk group perfomed Russian dance and songs.

04/10/2004.   "What? Where? When?" tournament in Washington D.C.

nikitin, 7KOn April 10-11, in Washington D.C. there held a "Washington Cherry" festival and the 9th USA tournament of "What? Where? When?"

The team from New York became a winner and got the main prize. It will go to Russia to take part in the World "What? Where? When?" championship.


01/29/2004.   Sergey Nikitin's concert in CAS

nikitin, 7KOn January 29, in the walls of CAS there held a meeting with Sergey Nikitin, the well known Russian bard (contemporary Russian Folk Music singer) .

Children sang together with Sergey Nikitin and perfomed the Russian folk dance "Yablochko". After the concert CAS students presented famous singer with the handmade gifts ( drawings, paintings, etc.).


11/14/2003.   "What? Where? When?" tournament in Boston

Owl At the end of October there held the “What? Where? When?” tournament in Boston. Dozens of teams from different states took part in this popular intellectual game. “Washington Wise Men” team won three contests out of seven and took the second place in the main competition.

The best player of the team was Sergey Vakulenko, the head of the marketing department in Shell Inc. This talented young millionaire flew from London to take part in the tournament. Sergey Vakulenko is the world “What? Where? When?” champion.
