Creative Art Studio (CAS) "Scarlet
Sails" has grown from the small home studio created by
Svetlana Sokolova for her son Sergey and his friends. Kids were
invited to the studio to learn dramatic art, Russian language
and culture. Some time later Svetlana came to the idea of creating
an art center for kids. She was supported by her friends Inna
Belaya, Victoria Serova, Alla Bazhina, Svetlana Tikhonova.
 First
classes in the new building of Creative Art Studio were held
on April 6, 2002 in 8400 Helgerman Court, Gaithersburg, MD 20877
. Today more than 100 children are enrolled for programs such
as "Fine Arts", "Dramatic Art", "Russian
language", "Mathematics", "Music" ,
etc. CAS also holds English classes for kids and adults.
